This is the result of massive borrowing at high interest rates. Now the government needs to find funds to pay back the interests.

Our Kandy and other people were fooled at the election saying about gas field except Colombo. Is that the reason for increasing prices of fuel?

It is better to use Bullcarta as public transpot. Enviorment friendly. WE thank the gov. for it's brave decison of price hike of Petrol,Diesel but it is better if Kerosine price reduce. In future Sri-lankans will get cheap Gas from Manner. Wait another 3 Months. If we get 2018 commen wealth bid, we can attract more invesments and Tourists then all the prices will go down.
