    If the price of a crude oil barrel went up, Srilanka would have gained millions of dollars From the hedging deal, but unfortunately due to the sanctions put on by certain countries on others, the price of crude oil and gas has dropped dramatically. Hedging deal was a business gamble, like the stock market. If Srilanka gained money no one would have spoken about it.
