 The State of Emergency was extended by another month in parliament a short while ago with 58 voting for and five against. The JVP and TNA voted against while the UNP members were absent

    Shame shame and more shame on the UNP - or did they have a back door deal with govt for all to be absent. At least if they voted and there was emergency vote defeated, many in remand will be free.
