Over 3000 displaced

Nine people have been killed and 3021 individuals displaced due to the prevailing inclement weather condition in the country, the Disaster Management Centre said.

A spokesman for the centre said that 735 families who have been severely affected by the rain and floods have been relocated at seventeen camps specially constructed for the displaced. (Chaturanga Pradeep)
