Over 100 suspects released

Over 100 suspects being held at a welfare centre in Jaffna were released by the authorities today. Of the 106 suspects released 41 were university students, the authorities said.

The welfare centre housed people from Jaffna taken in on suspicion or detained for questioning during and after the war.
