'One way traffic' rehearsal in Wattala tomorrow

In a abid to ease the prevailing traffic congestion in the Wattala area, the Police will implement a ‘one way’ rehearsal tomorrow.

Accordingly Police have advised all motorists entering Colombo from the Negombo area to turn left from the Nilmini roundabout in Wattala and proceed along the Old Negombo Road until the Alwis Town Junction and thereafter enter the main Negombo Road.

Vehicles moving from Colombo towards Negombo could use both lanes from the Alwis  Town Junction to the Nilmini roundabout.

All employees of state departments, private firms and residents who work and reside between the NIlmini Roundabout and Alwis Town Junction are accordinghly advised to use the Old Negombo road from the Nilmini junction.

    What about motorist coming from Hunupitya road going to Negombo side ?
