A 27 year-old person was killed and three others escaped in a shooting incident at Dematagoda last night, police said.

The incident took place near the Kelani Valley Railway crossing on the Baseline road, Dematagoda when the victim and the three other escapees traveling in a car.

The victim was identified as Thebuwana Arachchige Sajith Priyantha from the Borella area. No one has been arrested over the incident yet, police said.
