A police complaint has been lodged against the former President of the Bodybuilding Federation of Sri Lanka after he misused funds belonging to the federation even after his term expired, the Fraud Investigation Bureau told Daily Mirror online

The former president usually has a period of 14 days to transfer all powers to the newly appointed president including all documents regarding sportsmen and financial documents which he had failed to do.

The suspect had also allegedly used several cheques to transfer funds out of the federation, Investigations are currently underway. (Daily Mirror online)
