The independence of the judiciary has made possible the Magisterial process through which justice could be fulfilled to the father, mother and her two younger sisters. It is laudable that all parties have agreed towards the report. Pursuance of justice reflects good governance. It would be equally fitting justice to children when the laws relating to their freedoms are adequately improved on so as not to challenge these young minds against their own safety. Policy makers must apologise to the children who are legally allowed to engage in sex after 16, which teen age as noted by the medical profession in Sri Lanka, is a visible reason for teen pregnancies resulting in many deaths of teen mother and/or their baby.

If this has happened during the previous government, all the more reason why Rajitha should not have been given a ministerial post. He seems to be hard of hearing.
