His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith. Even as a Seminarian at St. Aloysius, he excelled in all spheres and it is a very fitting honour to him as well as to Sri Lanka. Great News and proud to be a batchmate.

problem is that there are only very few tolerant buddhist around in the country. in some areas like kiribathgoda, peoples of other religions are not even allowed to open a market. other religions dont have equal rights as buddhist. People of other religions cannot run for presidency. that's racism and intolerance.

Thats a good one! Does the same apply for Mahinda Rajapakse who shares the same initials? Whatever way, Sri Lanka doesnt lose if he in fact becomes a Cardinal.

Well the Cardinal Antonio Canzares is coming to Sri Lanka to declare open the Eucharistic Year celebrations on the 29th of August in Tewatta, Ragama. I don't know if he has another motive of inquiring into Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith. Anyway his name is hot in the vatican circles.
sanus Monday, 23 August 2010 05:54 AM
He played his cards very well to vie for the cardinalship.
Malcolm Ranjith or MR stands for Manipulator Royal!
Sharma Monday, 23 August 2010 05:20 AM
