This is in addition to the Duty free cars.

As far as I know salaries of state employees are tax free. That must be the reason why these state bank employees are given a tax free salary while the banks are taxed for the salaries of their employees. This COPE statement may be a prelude to axe their salaries of Satate Bank eployees at thir next collective agreement. Even at CEB and at Port authority the government is dragging the colective agreement which is over due by now.

No "bird Eye", they are the only state Institute whose employees do not get Duty Free Cars. Believe me I know that for sure.

Every employee, state, government or private including MPS should have to pay tax. 22 Million Sri Lankans but only 1.5 Million pay tax??????
