The Slave Island police today informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court that none of the eyewitnesses identified the suspects allegedly involved in the attack on the Siyatha Media Institution. The Slave Island police made this submission when the magisterial inquiry into the attack was taken up for hearing.

The police also told that they were yet to receive an assessment report from the complaint party regarding the damages.  Colombo Fort Magistrate Ms. Lanka Jayaratne ordered the police to arrest all suspects involved in the attack and called for a report to be submitted on November 15.

In Sri Lanka I don't think any of the attackers who carries out cowardly attacks on media can be brought to book. Sri Lanka Police is capable of handling any cases other than this. I think the people who are behind these attacks are cowards and have no back bone to face reality. All they can do is these types of third class acts although they are living like first class people.
