Charge the driver for 'animal slaughter'

    Buruwa Sunday, 23 January 2011 05:32 AM

Animals are exempted from law in the animal kingdom

    Rajitha Sunday, 23 January 2011 05:36 AM

Everyone in this forum seems to be putting the blame on the truck driver. now just imagine while you were driving you see a herd of buffaloes right in front of you. the owner of the herd is the real culprit. he should pay for all the damages to the truck and the road.

    kuriosity Sunday, 23 January 2011 05:37 AM

    its the buffaloes fault

Oyage Sudu Kella Sunday, 23 January 2011 05:41 AM

Buffalo owner is another buffalo to leave animals on the road.

    Owner Sunday, 23 January 2011 06:45 AM

    ishi Sunday, 23 January 2011 08:08 AM

    I completely agree with you.

    Roshan Sunday, 23 January 2011 08:59 AM

Its funny that all these people are blaming the driver. The herd owner must have kept his animals under control. Some people expect vehicles to be driven at 30km/h.. when the whole journey is about 150km. They expect the driver to drive for 5 hours. Get a life people - Roads are meant for transportation !

    Ari Sunday, 23 January 2011 09:41 AM

Coming in the wake of many 'buffalo' comments, the one you have offered is truly refreshing!

    saman Sunday, 23 January 2011 10:15 AM

frinds has the right to talk about loss onece

    Iro Sunday, 23 January 2011 04:45 AM

Sadly, this is a tagedy that could have been avoided. The courts oughtto task the owner of the herd for letting his livestock run free on public roads.

    Confucious Sunday, 23 January 2011 11:18 AM

Yes, obviously if he was there he could have stopped it!

Oyage Sudu Kella Sunday, 23 January 2011 11:38 AM

He may b a bareless driver, but the culprit to be blamed is the herd owner which let them loose. Feel sorry for the poor buffaloes.

    rohitha Saturday, 22 January 2011 06:58 PM

It would have been better if they were 9 Ministers, instead of buffaloes. The country could have saved well over Rs.9 million every month.
