Video: Navy rescues 138 foreigners from sinking ship

The Sri Lanka Navy has rescued a total of 138 Burmese and Bangladesh nationals from a sinking ship some 50 nautical miles off the eastern sea and brought to the Oluvil fishing harbor this morning, the navy said.

Navy Spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya told Daily Mirror online that one person was found to be dead at the time of the rescue.

    The headline should not say "foreigners,' simply people. The article can then go on to tell their nationalities. Unfortunately, the Sri Lankan mindset is always "foreigners" and "us."
