Muthuhettigama tries to take away arson suspects

Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama had reportedly attempted to forcibly take away the suspects, arrested in connection with the arson attack on the stage put up for the opposition’s propaganda rally at Wanduramba, when they were being brought to Court under police custody this monring.

 


The Police had however intervened and prevented the deputy minister from taking away the three suspects who were arrested yesterday.

 


The suspects were remanded till December 29 by the Baddegama Magistrate. (D. G. Sugathapala)

    Why has not the Judge taken action to remand Muthuhettigama. Is the Juadge another puppet. Did the Police inform the judge. Now u see the state of the Police and the Judiciary
