The Australian Government has turned to a pair of Sri Lankan cricket stars in attempt to stop the flow of asylum seeker boats from the country.

Retired Test great Muttiah Muralitharan and Twenty20 star Lasith Malinga each appear in short videos aimed at Sri Lankans living in Australia.

English and non-English versions of the video have been recorded, with the cricketers urging people not to encourage family members in Sri Lanka to seek asylum on risky boat journeys with people smugglers.

More than 950 Sri Lankan asylum seekers trying to get to Australia by boat have returned home, either voluntarily and involuntarily, since August last year. (The Morning Bulletin)

People have no money, no jobs and that's why they try to get into Australia to live a better life. Hope Murali and Malinga could educate the people and help make a difference.

As long as powerful politicos to fool people, anarchy ruling in villages, no political will to solve the problem of the country,Language & religion used to get votes, no intellectuals to rule, nepotism rule the country without the fear of the great religions we follow in this country no advertisement can stop the boat refugees.Australia & other countries give us conditional Aid to have an audited governance for your money in our country.
