MR calls for immediate relief for landslide victims

President Mahinda Rajapaksa today directed the authorities to provide immediate relief to the people affected by the landslide at the Meeriyabedda Estate in Koslanda.


He asked Disaster Management Minister Mahinda Amaraweera, Uva Province Chief Minister Shashindra Rajapaksa, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the security forces personnel to provide whatever assistance was necessary and to hasten the rescue operations.
