More rain expected

Thunder showers will develop island wide in the afternoon and evening, while the North, North Central, Central, Uva and Eastern provinces will experience heavy rain and thunder throughout the day, the Meteorological Department told Daily Mirror online

The coast line of the Eastern and the South Eastern part of the island will experience strong winds and heavy rain which will affect fishing in the area. (Gandhya Senanayake)
