Very little help in Sri Lanka for people with mental health
problems. There is lot of talk, but nothing is done at grass root level.

This mother must be having problems. Psychological ,Financial Marital,etc.

Very sad, Sri Lankan mothers need to be educated how to over come from marital and financial problems, Killing innocent child can not be accepted at any cost. Government should pass serious regulations to nip it in the bud.

Despite war victories government has not given any relief to the people, especialy poor sector of the society. They struggle even to find their meals while ministers with large tummies enjoying all perks and priviledges.

Dear readers, listen to this heartwrenching story,
I have two bitches in my house, the elder one is sterilized,(her name is Praveena) the second one (her name is Thulsy
grand daugher of Praveena) last week had a litter of puppies,
believe me or not, despite the fact that Praveena was sterilized newly born babies are being fed by her , their real mother thulsy has been chased away by Praveena,she doesn't care about her own babies, but her grand mother Praveena loves them so much , if someone approached babies she would definitely be attacked by Praveena,anybody can come and see this ,
but look what our human mothers are doing to their own babies ,

In recent times a lot of poor mothers have resorted to injuring or killing their children, in Sri Lanka. It is pointless to limit religious practices to mere rituals and book knowledge. These poor people need the guidance & support of so-called religious minded people for the material & spiritual well-being.

Sad to see mothers killing their own offspring because they have no money to feed the offspring. I thought the government promised to provide milk to children.
