Video: Minister corrects Hulugalla’s statements

Cabinet Spokesman and Minister Keheliya Rambukwella today referred to the recent statement made by Media Center for National Security Director General Lakshman Hulugalla and said it might have been a misinterpretation.

He made these comments when a journalist asked him about the government’s stand on the statement made by Mr. Hulugalla that no charges would be framed against the former LTTE arms procurer Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP because there was no evidence or complaints against him.

“Perhaps it can be a misinterpretation,” the minister said.(Sandun A. Jayasekera)
