Angelo Mathews has been appointed as the Captain of the Sri Lanka test Cricket t team while Dinesh Chandimal was appointed Vice Captain of the team, for a period of two years ending in January 2014.

Dinesh Chandimal was appointed captain of the T20, cricket team and Lasith Malinga was appointed his deputy.

Meanwhile, three new faces have been added to the squad of 20 for the upcoming Bangaladesh series.  (H.F)

    wrong choice.Chandimal is a test prospect. Anjelo is a T20 expert.Tissara Perera is in his best form for the shorter versions.Have few more in the pool and rotate depending on form and fitness.
