The Laggala Pradeshiya Sabha chairman Dharmasiri Kannagara’s son was arrested this evening for allegedly injuring an eight year-old child with a bullet he had shot, police said.
The child was said to have been injured when the bullet ricocheted off a lamppost and struck his leg. The child was admitted to the Laggala Hospital.
