if India vote aginst the resolution, it can proves that it is real friend of Sri Lanka. Otherwise, it will be sidelined in Sri Lanka by using Chinese influence.

It will be interesting to see whether SL's closest neighbour would extend their support in the hour of need.

India may become neutral, if so what others would do? After all mid-centre India went towards off-centre leaning towards the West, Pakistan may do justice!

This is the good time to decide who are the good friends of Sri Lanka and if India votes with west or even she takes the neutral position of course China and Russia would be given the much better opportunities while we deciding with the priorities of given the any projects .

India has no choice other than to support SL in everything with no exception. Let us not worry.
Silva Sunday, 04 March 2012 04:27 PM
So you think that SL can always play China against India and get your needs!
What an ignorant person you are.

It is time for India to pay Sri Lanka with the same coin. Sri Lanka took India for a ride during the war, and is trying to do the same after the war. The Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna said with Foreign Minister G.L.Peiris standing aside that “President Mahinda Rajapaksa has assured visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna that the government would deliver on its promise to implement the 13th Amendment plus and go beyond to devolve meaningful power to the Provincial Councils. In other words, Rajapakse has double-crossed S.M.Krishsna. Therefore, it is time he pays the price. S.M.Krishsna, i he has even an iota of self respect should vote for the US resolution at least to regain his reputation.
