Man climbs tree for dues

A man climbed on to a tree in front of the Labour Department Narahenpita for not giving him arrears from the private company that he worked despite the Court ruling to grant the arrears to him.

The protestor, who claimed that he was sacked from the job sometimes ago, told Daily Mirror Online on mobile phone that until President Mahinda Rajapaksa intervened he would not come down from the tree.

    Very wise man this employee is. He knows that official of the Labour Ministry and Higher ups are descendants of Lord Hanuma.
