I checked the results of year five, O/L & A/L prior to this so called principal & after. Amazingly after his arrival, all those results immensely increased. Therefore I believe this principal is doing something good for the community by producing more educated people for the society. These are our gods & don't let politicians to hang good people.

Our dear Prof. Mervin should solve this issue as it comes under his ministry's scope - ie: public relations.
Liyakath Monday, 11 February 2013 07:03 AM

Labby Monday, 11 February 2013 06:45 AM
Any right thinking person would know that this girl had not lied. Why should she? On the contrary, there are many reasons for the others concerned to make false statements at this inquiry.

Its a well know fact that teachers asking students to pay for the painting of their class rooms. This is happening not only this school, but in other government schools.

All are pretending to be saints. When ever there is politics and money is involved there will always problems.
Kahanthie Monday, 11 February 2013 05:23 AM
Normal practice for painting and small scale repairing. Students are asked to pay. Who is this politico? Opposition or Govt.?
ramkumar Monday, 11 February 2013 05:18 AM
My son attending to Bambalapitiya Hindu College, asked me to buy a bottle of Air Freshener for his school, as his teacher asked for school. Can you imagine what is going in the Gov. school against free education. They demand money for Painting, Security, Lab charges, sport meet, cultural program, party for retired staff etc.
KABAB Monday, 11 February 2013 05:18 AM

Why would a 13 year old lie in fear?? They will tell the truth in police interrogation OR she should be a experienced robber. Latter cant be.
Ask police or CID to check with other girls in the school. you will get the reason crystal clear without any force.....
Banana Republic !!! Survival of the most powerful fools !!

The latest request was in January and this time we did not give any money. If they want parents to help paint that's fine.
There was a recent request from one of the teachers for money for some books.
