Around 600 army personnel have made use of the opportunity given by the military to resign from the army lawfully, after being absent without leave, Army Spokesman Major General Ubaya Madawela told Daily Mirror online

This opportunity will be given until Saturday (12th) so those army personnel who have not reported to work and are absent without leave can make use of this period to resign from the army in a lawful manner, Major General Ubaya Madawela said.

This opportunity was given in line with the 63rd Independence Day celebrations. (Daily Mirror online)
