Air evacuation for Lankans

The Government has taken steps to arrange a charter flight to repatriate 418 Sri Lankans in Libya after they made a request from the Sri Lankan embassy, External Affairs Ministry officials told Daily Mirror online.

It was earlier reported that a ship was sent from Bahrain to Libya to bring back the Sri Lankan citizens who were in Libya. (Daily Mirror online)
