Three Sri Lankan nationals were detained by the Chennai Police authorities for suspected links in a racket in human trafficking on Monday night, the Hindu newspaper reported today.

“We suspect that they have links with persons who transported migrant Sri Lankan Tamils to Australia from Tamil Nadu and other places. No arrest has been made yet,” a senior official in the ‘Q’ Branch of the Chennai police said.
