you have point, however principals in this country should act with responsibility to protect our children rather than destroy them.

The boy who is responsible for disturbing someones privacy also should be prosecuted. Not sure about the legal side of this type of disturbances. Its the same as if he has posted a photo in public.

As a person from psychology field I see the child involved here had problems before and was reaching the maximum point of depression. The principals advice or scolding was better if he had done it at his office but his intention was to save others from the curse of so called face book.A lot of children today addicted to face book neglecting their school work and becoming victims to unknown potentially dangerous individuals. Many young people contact unknown people through face book and other social websites and ended up with trouble. The principal was right for advicing her against social website but the mode he delivered it was a bit harsh.I am sure he wanted to save others and by looking at some photographs of this 16 year old one can ask why her parents let her wear clothes she was wearing in some photos as they are not suitable for a young child who is still frequenting school.Clearly the principal has observed the trend and wanted to stop that.

It seems there should be some lessons for school children how to handle social websites..

overzealous principals and teachers must be taught a lesson. the parents mostly side with the teachers blindly believing everything what they say is true and right against their children.

And arrest her boyfriend for publishing her indecent photos on Facebook. Nowadays respect and decency is no more. Affairs has lot of intimacy and a simple breakup leads to guy discrediting the girl he loved,....... or may be used. Charge him with murder. via DM Android App

The girl got the punishment from her life. Parents got the punishment from losing their child. Now the principal is getting the punishment. From my view all the people who are to be blamed for this incident are being punished now.

I hope he punished for stupidity!, how can you shout at a young girl in front of 5000 students, according to her last letter? I really feel sorry for the young and talented girl.

We are here because of our teachers. during our school time our teachers used to beat us up with broom sticks if we did something wrong. And we would be scared to go home and tell our parents about it. Today we are doing well because our teachers did those things! today when we see the teachers who punished us we kneel before them, cos we know that without them we will not be here!...... what a shame...!

We r living in a country full of idiots, so this is no surprise. Arrest the principal who was trying to correct that child, but don"t arrest the hudreds of politicians who commit crimes in daylight.
