Jackie wins IIFA award

Sri Lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who made her Bollywood debut with Aladin, was declared Star Plus Debut of the Year (Female) at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards Saturday.

Apart from Jacqueline, Mahi Gill, who played the modern age Paro in Anurag Kashap's new interpretation of Devdas titled Dev D, too bagged the Star Plus Debut of the Year (Female) award.

3 Idiots fame Omi Vadiya, who had people rolling on the aisles with his antics in the super-hit movie, received Star Plus Debut of the Year (Male) award along with Jackie Bhagnani - the young actor who made his debut with the not-so-successful movie Kal Kissne Dekha. (NDTV)

Jackqueline you are pride of Sri Lanka keep it up and keep the lion flag flying high when enermies of the country trying to put down us and trample us due to their racism and bigtory and ultra-nationalism, specially Tamils in Tamil Nadu. And among us also that old wrinkled bad mouth so-called one time MrsSri Lanka Rosy Senanayake try to undermine the country and its people - you always talk high about your country been seen in many occassions. Really proud of Jacki! Most of our Sri Lankan artist used to preach to new commers sayin that u cant survive out side SL especially in their industries. Jacki has set an example for those hypocritic cowerds, that real Sri Lankans can win the world! Congratz Jacki and wish u all the best of luck for your future!! She made SL proud and recognized jst like Sana, Aravinda, Sanga, Arjuna, mahela, Murali, malinga, Susi and the others did...!! Good luck!
