11 injured in road accident

Eleven people were injured when a van travelling towards Wellawaya skidded off the road and toppled over at Hulandawa on the Moneragala-Bibila main road this evening, Police said.

They said five women, three children and three men were among the injured who were admitted to the Moneragala Hospital.

The victims are residents of Dehiattakandiya.
