United National Party MP Anoma Gamage revealed in Parliament today that members of the Civil Defence Force known as ‘Home Guards’ have been assigned to teach in pre-schools in the morning and to man checkpoints at night.
However, the government did not give any answers or didn’t deny the allegation either. (KB & YP)

Wrong is that they should be qualified and properly trained to teach the children, it is very sensitive issue.

My comment about teaching to kindergarden which I send yesterday was not pubklished, even earlier comments look like your paper is bias and need comments which are favourable to your opinion.

My comment was that there is nothing wrong home gourds teaching for kindergarden children, not only that anoma should know that in ampara these gurads do teh cultivation in day time and do the home guard duty in night

What a shame! The kids need better qualified personnel to formulate their minds at the pre-school tender age. Most Parents do not want their children to become thieves, thugs and or Politicians when they grow up.
