If a party fighting for the rights of the people and voice on thier behalf was identified as anti SL then I would encourage them to do it more vigorously. Asking for the rights is not peatriotic then w have no choice other than fight back.

Nobody, not the government or any one else need do anything to create a rift within TNA. Sampanthan himself doing the needful.
raj Monday, 12 March 2012 11:08 PM
TNA should be careful when dealing with accussed war criminals.
Canthan Monday, 12 March 2012 06:35 PM
If Sampanthan is aware that Mahinda Rajapakse is trying to split TNA, why he is meeting Mahinda all alone without any others from his own group. The suspision on Sampanthan is always starting from here. He should understand this.
Ralahami Monday, 12 March 2012 06:15 PM
TNA the proxies of the vanquished LTTE, the political mouth peice of the and the pawn of its western backers, have two options! To go against the motherland and the will of the majority and face the music or accept to coexsist and fight strategically to win your demands like the late Thondaman.
The choice is yours!!
HERBY PADMAPERUMA Monday, 12 March 2012 06:16 PM
CORRECT NOT ONLY THE GOVT, BUT EVERY RIGHT THIKING, PEOPLE MST GETH TOGETHER AND DESTROY, BREAK AND ANNIHILATE ANTI RACIAL,CLASS, CREED ETHNIC ETC, ETHNIC BASED POLITICAL PARTIES . OTHERWISE THE SINHALA, MUSLIM , TAMIL COMMUNITIES CANNOT BE UNITED AND MADE TO LIVE PEACEFUL AS ONE FAMILY.WE ARE ESSENTIALLY SRI LANKANS, WHAT EVER BE OUR RACE.CAST AND CREED. SAMPANTHAN DOES NOT WANT THIS HAPPEN FOR POLITICAL BENEFIT.
lasantha Monday, 12 March 2012 05:12 PM
Talking of racist parties, why not start with the JHU
lasantha Monday, 12 March 2012 05:11 PM
Hi Janaka,
Why don't you start with teaching Tamil to the Singhalese
Janaka Monday, 12 March 2012 12:55 PM
TNA called its self the party for all Tamils, but they do not care much of the tamils on tea plantations.
and if the TNA cares rally about tamils, then they should make effords to give tamils free Sinhala education.
because everybody shloud see that to increase the economy of our nation is to use one language.
the best way and cheapest way for our economy is to teach to minority the language of the majority.
this happens in every country around the world.
Ravi Monday, 12 March 2012 01:08 PM
TNA operate withing the law of the land, if not file a case against them!
Shankar Monday, 12 March 2012 12:19 PM
You are a experienced politician, why u are worried about the rift. Only TNA can win with home symbol. If someone goes out, he is the looser. Here we tamils not looking at the persons but in the party in whole.
GUNE Monday, 12 March 2012 09:01 AM
sampandan trying to create a rift within the country and you are feeling the pulls of it now and the time to come.
Achtung Monday, 12 March 2012 08:34 AM
agree about the racist part. There should be multi-cultural multi-ethnic parties. how can we end the ethinic issue when the minority themselves create the rift?
Dinesh Monday, 12 March 2012 05:55 AM
This goverment will do each and every dirty this to continue its power !!!
Do you all rember SB few year back ??
Dinesh Monday, 12 March 2012 08:18 AM
Yes.Exacly when he was with CBK he was praising and when he joined UNP he was scolding like nothing and eneded in prision. Now ...what !!!!
Calistus Jayatilleke Monday, 12 March 2012 08:02 AM
He is right, this government has the worst record in buying MPs from opposition parties either through threats or with filthy lucre. They have already managed to break up almost all the opposition political parties in the country in this manner and achieved a two-third steamroller majority which helped the President to go on contesting elections.
Minnal Sri Monday, 12 March 2012 07:38 AM
This government is known very well for dirty politics. Mr.Sampanthan shoul be very careful.
steve Monday, 12 March 2012 07:43 AM
Divide and concur it the oldest trick in the book. This Government is a masters of the game. They successfully did this to the UNP, JVP and now the TNA.
ind Monday, 12 March 2012 07:38 AM
Racist parties should be rifted. That's good for the country.
solomon Monday, 12 March 2012 06:33 AM
Wherever SB goes he makes a mess of it. Good example is the 2011 A/L results. Last year there was a big bang about the 'Leadership camp'. This year still there is no noise of that. Once it was reported he wanted to train for 6 weeks but we think 2 weeks is more than enough. For the school candidates who will be sitting for the GCE Advanced Level this year (2012), still the schools has not got their application forms. Last year applications were closed in February.
Kondebendapucheena Monday, 12 March 2012 06:31 AM
No need to create Rift .it is Already there since May 19th 2009
lankanreader Monday, 12 March 2012 06:28 AM
Natanna bari minihata polawa adai lu
sena Monday, 12 March 2012 06:14 AM
I feel very sorry about Sampanthan. Some one should give something to wipe his tears.
lankashantha Monday, 12 March 2012 06:12 AM
Sir, Get 3 cabinet minister posts and you can eat all the opposition parties as you are the only one against them.
Don't miss the chance.
John Monday, 12 March 2012 06:10 AM
There should be no racist parties in SL who are only clamouring for special priviledges for only their people. The TNA have always been anti SL and they deserve all the very worst for the support to the LTTE which destroyed Tamils and Tamil culture even if we ignore the support for atrocities against non-Tamils.
