And you have spoken like a.... ? buffalo citizen. The benefits all minorities in this country enjoy in all aspects, but fore-mostly their freedom of being able to live anywhere alongside the Sinhala majority in complete harmony is testimony enough of the tolerance and compassion of the Sinhala people.Do you really think there is a similar freedom for the Sinhala in the Tamil and Muslim dominated areas?

Absolute rubbish, sinhalese have a historical record for racism and the numerous riots where ordinary sinhalese gang up shamelessly and threaten, assault and kill minorities is well known and documented in the past. The present regime whose base is sinhala racism and hegemony is the catalyst for all this humbug. Truth needs to be stated openly and plainly without finding scapegoats to hide the real truth.

There is no religious tension between Sinhalese and Muslims. There is a very small group of Monks who are trying to create tension. These people are either financed by foreign secret services or certain business men in the country.
