The JVP said today that the government had only won over Kumaran Pathmanathan (KP) and Daya Master, but had failed to win over the hearts and minds of the Tamil citizens residing in the North.

The JVP also confirmed it would not name a representative to the Parliament Select Committee (PSC) which would end up as a pointless exercise..

It highlighted the fact that apart from winning Kumaran Pathmanathan (KP) and Daya Master to its side this Government had failed to win the hearts and minds of the Tamils in Sri Lanka.

JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva said instead of participating in the PSC, it would present a set of proposals meant to resolve the problems of the minorities.

“This government has failed to win the hearts and minds of the Tamil people in this country and instead has only been able to win over former LTTErs like KP and Daya Master” he said. (Sanath Desmond)

You will se, inspite of not being able to convince the Tamil people, at the polls the govt party will win with a resounding majority. How? Vote rigging. Harra votes.
