Four SSPs, five SPs transfered

Four SSPs and five SPs have been transferred on the orders of the Secretary to the Ministry of Law & Order based on exigencies of service, police said.

The following transfers are ordered:
SP Ajith Rohana OIC Ampara Division as Director Police Public Relation & Media co-ordination Division
SSP M.H.K.B. Mahagedara OIC Nuwara Eliya Division as OIC Ampara Division.
SSP S.C.Medawatte OIC Matale Division as Director National Police Acadamy
SSP K.P.Palitha Fenando Director Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau as OIC Matale Division
SP G.M.H.B. Siriwardena Director Police Public Relation & Media co-ordination Division as OIC Bandarawela Division
SP G.I.D.R. Wijesinghe OIC Bandarawela Division as OIC Mankulam Division
SP S.A. Abewickrama OIC Puttalam Division as OIC Nuwara Eliya Division
SP B.R.S.R. Nagahamulla of CID OIC Puttalam Division
SP K.G.A. Alwis of Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau Acting Director Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau until a permanent Director is posted
