Abduction move foiled

Four persons including two soldiers attached to the Ukuwela army camp who had attempted to abduct a lady teacher had been apprehended by the nearby villagers, tied to a tree, assaulted.

The suspects were later handed over to the police, the Matale police said  (Daily Mirror online)
