Former Minister passes away

A former Minister and former Gampaha District MP Sarath Chandra Rajakaruna passed away this morning at his residence. He entered Parliament for the first time in 1977 and was a Minister in the cabinet of late President J. R. Jayewardene. (YP)

    Hope you rest in peace and may you attain nibbana! One of the few politicians left from 1977. The class of politicians will never come back, class of Anadasangaree, Dayaratne etc. Those are the educated ones stil surviving from 1977
