Needless loss of life. Only reason is speeding with no need for such haste except to meet with death sooner than a natural one. Obey traffic rules and 3ws should not carry more than 3 pgs and heavy vehicles must stick to their lanes without overtaking showing their might. More policing will help.

Install large boards showing speed limits. Regular drivers on these roads know the pitfalls. Those from outside the area who are victims. Speed limits are a warning signal and not mere regulation

Upgrade the major roads at least with four lanes. Present roads can not cater with the number of vehicles in the road.reducing speed is not the solution. There is a value for time. waste of fuel etc..etc.. so people take risk to over take to minimize the time loses It takes 4hrs for me to travel 120 Kms ( average is merely 30km/h, ).If feel I better buy a Bull Cart instead

Result of careless actions by reckless drivers. Most drivers tend to think the faster they drive the sooner they will get to the destination. This is a misconception and unproven fact. Exceeding safe speed limit will cause unnecessary wear of the motor vehicle thus risking the life of the driver and others on the road. The amount of time save is negligible considering the risk involved. These reckless drivers need severe discipline including revoke of their driving privileges. SL police must enforce the traffic laws without any reference to the offender regardless of their political or commercial status. If each driver operates their vehicle, abide by all traffic regulations the delays and the road accidents can be reduced or completely be eliminated.
