Five fishermen missing

Five fishermen who set sail on December 16 have been reported missing, Chilaw Police said.

A complaint had been lodged yesterday (18) at the Chilaw police concerning the disappearance of the fishermen. Three among the five disappeared individuals are residents of Bangadeniya while the other two are from Suduwella, Chilaw.

Further investigations are being carried out by the Chilaw Police.
