Family of three found dead

The bodies of three family members including that of an infant were found a short while ago at Sagara Mawatha in Panadura.

The bodies of the mother, father and their eight-month-old infant were found in their family home. The cause of death is yet unclear.
Initial reports said the body of the father was found hanging, and the body of the mother and infant were found on a chair and a bed in the family room.

The Panadura South Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.

    Of course, 'no investigation, no right to speak,' but , poverty looms large on the list of possibilities..Recently some well heeled expats Sri Lankan friends came back from the supermarket shocked by prices and wondered how people here could pay them.
