roshan raz Monday, 19 July 2010 04:29 AM

WOULD YOU SAY THE SAME THING IF IT HAPPENED TO ONE OF YOUR RELATIVES? what is your definition to human rights? human rights are there to protect the criminals?

    Bakamoona Sunday, 18 July 2010 06:02 AM

Premalal Perera Sunday, 18 July 2010 04:07 AM

If the police are so active the crime rate will go down. Well done police.

Shivanka David Sunday, 18 July 2010 02:33 AM

Good step now the police should find weather he's guilty or not and then take the necessary steps without giving him bail so that he can escape. good move by the SL police

Podi Guru Saturday, 17 July 2010 05:26 PM

She was not a nurse--she was a mid-wife. And is it yet proven that he murdered her??????

Podi Guru Saturday, 17 July 2010 04:31 PM

Hold your horses, young man! it is not yet proven that he murdered those four people. One does not speak of the punishment before the guy is found guilty.

    Wasantha Saturday, 17 July 2010 04:15 PM

Being given to understand that he has already made a confession. After committing a barbarian act, no mercy. The legal process should to be accelerated and if found guilty hang him without bluffing.

    Farshard Saturday, 17 July 2010 06:50 AM

    Yes good move....police

    Z Saturday, 17 July 2010 11:22 AM

Great job police...but everyone is innocent until proven guilty...so we'll just wait and see what this guy has to say before passing judgements...

May be in two places; in your hypothetical world and in the heaven

    dave Saturday, 17 July 2010 09:33 AM

    Hang him. No sympathy.

    Naren Saturday, 17 July 2010 09:24 AM

With an attitude like that you're no different to the guy who murdered that family. capital punishment isnt the answer. there's a reason why we got something called human rights although for many sri lankans it is an alien concept.

The country should be economically developed. social development will follow and then you will have a truly lasting solution to these problems. there are many foreign countries that you could take as examples. but of course the xenophobic fools in SL would know none of this.
