Police and the security forces have asked the members of the EPDP to be cautious in view of the recent killing of one of its members at Periyakulam, allegedly by the LTTE.

A spokesman for the party said they were advised to strictly adhere to their instructions of the police and the security forces providing protection to the political activities of the party.

Security forces have issued the instructions after receiving intelligence reports on a group of LTTE members attempting to create trouble in the area.  The LTTE members are alleged to have killed the EPDP member Welaudan Ragunathan on March 18. (Amadoru Aamarajeewa)

Excellent idea! The humanitarian war demolished the LTTE and saved the lives of many innocent Tamil Sri Lankans, so now let's have a humanitarian civil disbanding of the EPDP and save the lives of others as well.

To save those EPDP members from the LTTE, disband the EPDP and send them to their home. Waste of money and time on them.
