Employee arrested over killing of family

Police today arrested a 35-year-old employee of a poultry farm at Udugampola in Gampaha in connection with the killing of the farm’s owner, wife and daughter.

Police said the suspect was arrested in the Pasyala area.

The severely decomposed bodies of the three victims were found in their house in Udugampola last Thursday. (Lahiru Pothmulla)
