Emergency was extended by another month in parliament today with 120 members voting for and 38 against. The UNP and JVP voted against the extension while UNP MP Abdul Cader voted with the government. (KB&YP)

Why are we wasting time and money by voting evry month to extend the emergency. Let us extend it for a year or even five years.
