Elevator collapses killing one employee

An elevator at a five-storey building in Panadura collapsed today killing one employee and injuring another, Police said.

The said the man who was killed was 40 years old while the one who was injured was 37. The police said the two employees were moving stores to the upper floors using the elevator when it collapsed.
