A storm in a tea cup! As a village boy, I have witnessd many spectacles of layers of clay on paddy fields manifesting wide cracks during dry and warm spells of weather.

According to USGS, there are no seismic activities nearby. There is no need to panic. People are making everything out of propotion. This could be a clay crack after heavy rains.
