Don’t talk to media-IGP

Police Chief N.K Illangakone today instructed all police officers to refrain from giving voice recordings to the media and authorized only the Police media spokesman to do so.
The instruction had been given after several senior officers gave various voice recordings and statements to the media with regard to the disbanding of a police unit down south. (SD)
