Claiming that it was not correct to level allegations against Treasury Secretary PB Jayasundera, Public Management and Reforms Minister Naveen Dissanayake said if he and Private Transport Minister CB Ratnayake were given important ministries they would show how to work for the people.

“If CB and I have good ministries we can do more for the residents of the Nuwara Eliya District. But unfortunately we have not been given the opportunity of doing so. Some ministers are in charge of more than 15 ministries.

We have no disputes among us. We hope to work together and lead the country forward under the President’s leadership,” the minister said during a ceremony in Walapane.

He said Sri Lanka was faced with several problems. “We should not hide the truth. To resolve these problems it is first necessary to unite. We should be careful of people who have hidden agendas. I don’t think it is correct to level allegations against P.B. Jayasundera,” he added.

If you want to work for the people you can do so from a cajan hut. Mahatma Gandhi fought for independence against the British living in a hut.

You don't have the political brain of your father. Defending a culprit will not do any good to you. Anyway you don't need a brain to work under MR.

There is a saying, If your son is not doing better than you, you have fathered in vain.

Unfortunately this is what I have to say to late Mr.Dissanayakea and also many fathers in that league!
