Western Provincial Council (WPC) Kalutara District Democratic Party candidate K.A. Nishantha has been found trussed up and assaulted inside his vehicle by unidentified group in Dikpitiya, Mathugama this morning, the Police said.

They said later he was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital.
